Fine dining in our converted Sussex farmhouse, which we opened in 1998,

A secluded and intimate dining experience for all, offering exceptional wild & natural,

seasonal & local ingredients include local meat, Rye Bay & Hastings fish & shellfish, foraged seasonal ingredients.

We offer themed Gourmet Dinner and Wine Evenings.

Offering Modern English Cuisine mastered by Paul Webbe and presented by Head Chef, Chris Weddle.

Please be advised that our 2-course lunch menu is £29.95pp and our 3-course lunch menu is £35.95pp

Our Saturday and Sunday lunches are a set £37.50 for three courses.

Special Diets, Allergies and vegetarians are accommodated with ease, and with prior notice.

Serving Lunch Wednesday to Sunday, Dinner Wednesday to Saturday.

Closed Sunday Evening, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Reservations are essential, BUT are not accepted via email or social media, as we may miss or not receive your request.

We are easily accessible for wheelchair users with a door step, and a ramp provided and then all on one level.

For any reservation for 7 people and over we will take a non-refundable deposit of £10pp

We are closed for our Autumn break from Monday 6th November and will re-open for dinner on Wednesday 13th November.

Our Christmas Closures are: 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th and 30th December.

During the month of December please be advised that our restaurant will be closing, after lunch service, promptly at 4.15pm (our kitchen closes at 2pm) before opening for dinner at 7.00pm.

We will close for our annual winter break from Thursday 2nd January 2025 and will re-open for lunch on Thursday 23rd January 2025.

Make a Reservation

The Wild Mushroom welcomes your reservation and kindly asks you to use our online booking system for tables of up to 6 guests.
To reserve tables of 7 or more please call the restaurant directly as we will need to take a deposit of £10pp.
On our reservation system, if your chosen date is crossed through or a time is not showing, then we are fully booked.

All Christmas parties and celebration dates need to be reserved and secured with a non-refundable deposit by phoning the restaurant directly. Further information about Christmas openings and offerings will be available soon and you will be able to click here

ALL reservations on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day must be made by calling the restaurant directly on 01424 751137. A deposit of £25pp will be required for lunch on the 31st December and 1st January 2025. Please note that this year we will not be open on Christmas Eve.

Regrettably we do not allow DOGS in our premises or in our garden, we do, however, allow support/assistance dogs.
