Job Description for Assistant Restaurant Supervisor
Webbe’s Restaurants have a vacancy for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Supervisor to join our busy restaurant in Rye.
Working alongside the manager, you will play an intrinsic role to the seamless running of the restaurant. This will be a hands-on role which will involve serving guests, running the restaurant (taking orders, cashing up, using ResDiary booking system and EPOS billing system), updating timesheets, training staff and responding to all customer’s needs. You will also need to be able to handle email enquiries and help to maintain some office duties.
We are looking for someone who is capable of deputising in the absence of the Manager, who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, well-presented and politely spoken with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others into action. An aptitude for problem solving and decision making is a necessity as is the ability to multitask. A good knowledge of food and wine would be an advantage.
