Our self service Cafe with stunning panoramic views of the Harbour Arm and Hastings Fishing Fleet on the Stade. Amazing in good weather viewed from the outside terrace with a Smoked Seafood Board and a light glass of Prosecco.

The Jerwood Gallery

Situated next to the historic fishing beach in Hastings’ picturesque Old Town, the award winning Jerwood Gallery is home to the Jerwood Collection of 20th and 21st century British art, and a diverse temporary exhibition programme.

The Jerwood Foundation, Jerwood Charitable Foundation, Jerwood Space and the Jerwood Gallery are a group of organisations committed to supporting and nurturing excellence in the arts. The Jerwood Foundation was established in 1977 by its Chairman, Alan Grieve, for John Jerwood, an international businessman and philanthropist. Since John Jerwood's death in 1991, Alan Grieve has created and shaped the Jerwood vision; building the Jerwood name as a major contributor to the vibrancy and creativity of the arts in the UK.

The Foundation makes strategic capital grants, reflecting its purposeful and wide-ranging support for the arts and education. The Foundation has also acquired a significant Collection of 20th and 21st century works of art, which is on public display for the first time at the Jerwood Gallery.
